Welcome! I’m so glad you’re taking a few minutes to explore my website. I’m passionate about helping women feel good about themselves and their relationships.
The women I work with are outwardly successful, but still feel unfulfilled, flawed, and overwhelmed. They find themselves struggling with self-esteem, confidence, and self-criticism. Their relationships are often out of balance — they give and give, but don’t feel appreciated, valued, or heard.
Do you feel overwhelmed and stressed out?
Do you feel like no matter how much you do or accomplish it’s never enough?
Do you feel like you’re walking on eggshells trying to keep everyone happy?
Do you feel drained and like there’s nothing left for you?
Do you feel unappreciated, angry, or resentful?
Do you feel like life is spiraling out of control?
Do you feel like there’s something fundamentally wrong with you, but you don’t know what?
You aren’t alone! I specialize in helping women cope with difficult feelings and life transitions and regain a strong sense of self-worth and confidence. This can include counseling to:
- Manage stress and anxiety.
- Tame perfectionism and feelings of never being good enough.
- Free yourself from codependent or toxic relationships.
- Navigate the challenges of motherhood. I especially like to support new mothers (especially those who grew up in dysfunctional families and want to “do better” and learn healthier ways to parent) and mothers of teenagers (it’s a bumpy road and support helps!).
- Cope with infertility, miscarriage, and neonatal loss.
It’s time for you to come first.
It’s time for you to prioritize your needs. It’s time for you to rediscover what you like to do and what matters to you. It’s time for you to find your voice and ask for what you want. It’s time for you to feel good about yourself and build relationships that nurture you.
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. Women are nurturers and caretakers. And as such, we have to protect our energy and restore our health and emotional wellbeing so that we can continue to take care of our families, do meaningful work, and be healthy, happy people.
Committing to therapy means you’re setting aside at least one hour a week to focus on you. Therapy with me is both supportive and challenging. I believe it’s important to feel heard and understood, but I will also challenge you to dig into your feelings, implement change, and rediscover your true self.
I invite you to schedule a session using the link below or email me and let me know when you’re available for a brief consultation by phone. I’d love to help you create a joy-filled life!
